- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I am very displeased with this credit union. I have been banking with them for 5+ years. I went in to cash a local check for the second time in a week. The teller took the check and went into the back office and came out and told me he could not deposit the check (which was only for $100) and it would be a hold on it due to my account not having matching funds. I have cashed several checks well over $100 with this credit union that I'm a member of and have been for over 5 years and NEVER have been told that. I asked to speak to a manager, i then asked to see the written disclosure stating that and she went online and printed out something that did not say anything close to what she wanted me to believe. The ironic thing to me is that ive cashed checks here and have never been told that and the checks were $1000's of dollars. It was also ironic that on my previous visits I was serviced by an African American and on this particular occasion this individual was a Caucasian individual. That is the only difference in this bank visit and any of my other visits at this location. I'm closing my account.
